Those age 55 and older will soon have a new and exciting option for living in Woodforest — The Lofts at Pine Market.
These luxury apartments will provide an urban type of experience with dining and retail all within walking distance. Rents are expected to start at $1,500 a month. Floor plans range from 560 to 1,411 square feet and include studio, one- and two-bedroom designs with plentiful windows, raised ceilings, spa-like bathrooms and stainless steel finishes in the kitchen. Fifty-one units are available. The urban-style apartments are managed by Magnolia Property Company.
The Lofts at Pine Market are part of the third phase of Pine Market, the commercial center of Woodforest.
Offering an estimated 70,000 square feet, the 7-acre center to the east of Pine Market Avenue and Sundown Stroll Drive will be split into four buildings. Buildings 1 and 2 comprise 55,000 square feet for retail and The Lofts at Pine Market. The other two buildings will be dedicated to retail with more than 8,000 square feet each. The entire third phase is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Realty 1 has completed the first two phases of Pine Market in Woodforest’s commercial corridor for tenants such as Harvest Market, Luv Coffee, Adventure Kids Playcare, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, Tacos 2 Go and Premier Martial Arts. In all, 25 retailers have opened in the first two phases. Also open in Woodforest is Woodforest National Bank, as well as Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, the first tenant in a planned 100,000-square-foot office and medical complex.
In addition to retailers, the Pine Market complex will include a large park to be used for art festivals, farmers markets and other planned activities.
Active adults ages 55 and older who prefer to own rather than rent can find single-story homes built just for them at Bonterra at Woodforest. Bonterra residents also enjoy a clubhouse, pool, pickle ball, bocce ball and more within Bonterra, as well as events planned by an on-site lifestyle director.
